EGON PIANO TRIO

Egon Piano Trio is an established ensemble of driven young artists from Taiwan, South Korea and Spain, with a shared intention of pursuing a fresh, vibrant approach to trio playing. Already showing a unique group dynamic, they are excited to develop and expand their musical language, reaching from the 18th century through to the contemporary sound world.

The trio was founded at the Sándor Vegh Institute of Mozarteum University, taking classes with. Violinist Cibran Sierra-Vázquez (founder of Cuarteto Quiroga) and also cellist Heidi Litschauer, who was member of Wiener Trio. Currently, they are studying for a master's degree in chamber music at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München under the guidance of Professor Dirk Mommertz (co-founder of the Fauré Quartet)

In 2023 Egon trio was selected to participate in the "ARD International Music Competition" in the category of piano trio.
